Waswaas – Antidote
Antidote contains five warm water analogue synth pools fit for bathing in. The first known outing from newcomer Waswaass is cosmic without feeling removed, pulsing and rippling as if channeling through the earth, provoking more body response than cerebral.
“Invocation” calls forth early space synth expression before “Threshold” wipes clean the slate with folds of formless material to pass through. “Bewitched” delivers a groovy bass line that fissures through the celestial mood in the lead up to “Nostalgia,” the seven-minute IDM churn of cinematic scope.
At its end, “Reintegration” volts gliding melody over electronic tides, reprogramming your busy subconscious. Presented with a mysterious aura by Trilogy Tapes.
