Stano – Anthology
This large release is a years in the making from a 'true blue maverick' or the Irish music scene. Between 1982 and 1994, Stano made five albums, but never quite got his due. Fitting uncomfortably somewhere between synth- and post-punk, his music eschewed easy categorization in the 80s Dublin scene. This low-key status did not stop him from collaborating over the years with Roger Doyle, Michael O’Shea, Daniel Figgis, and Colm Ó Cíosóig from My Bloody Valentine.
Poetic, bold and missing from the canon of well known and influential 80s "rock".
