St. Petersberg’s Anton Glebov (aka Mårblebuilds a dreamy, not-not-freak-folk world in Diego, using balafon, flute, percussion, saxophone, synths and field recordings from a recent trek through Georgia: “gurgling waters of Narzan springs in the Caucasus Mountains, serenading frogs late at night by a lake in Batumi, crickets and cicadas hissing in the fields.”

Hypnotic and body-jerking rhythms give way to lulling ambience and rusty ditties, a phantasmagoric dream(fourth)-world informed by real-world experiences, rather than anything ethnographic or voyagistic. Released on Not Not Fun.
